Kindergarten Newsletter 02/19/08

Welcome Back!
I hope you enjoyed the three-day weekend. We still have one more at the end of this month (02/29 – 03/02).

Heartfelt Thanks
Thanks to all who help us in the classroom and at home. God bless you!

Mrs. Pedrozo and I send you our sincere thanks for the thoughtful and generous Valentine cards and gifts.

This Week
The letter of the week is Ee.
The sight word is was.
In math we will work with pennies, nickels, and dimes.

St. Vincent DePaul Lunches
Thank you for performing this corporal work of mercy during this Lenten season. We continue to provide these lunches this Friday, 02/22.

The Roaring 20’s!
We are taking a look at the 1920’s, the decade during which Our Lady of Mercy School was first build. We will learn a few interesting facts of that time. Did you know that Mickey Mouse was created in 1928 and the electric pop-up toaster was developed during the 1920’s? I need a toaster or two for Wednesday, February 20, as we explore this wonderful time in history.

Funding Factory
OLM School

2. Ink cartridges for computer equipment.

Stations of the Cross
Please join us this Friday, 02/22, for the Stations of the Cross!

God bless you!
Have a great week and a holy Lent!
