Welcome back! I hope you enjoyed the Thanksgiving Holiday.
Thank You
Thank you to the families who helped with our Pilgrim and Indian “Feast”. We enjoyed our time together.
Homework Calendar
Please turn in the November homework calendar on Monday, December 3rd. The December homework calendar will go home this week.
Feed the Hungry
The Advent season begins Sunday, December 2nd. My class will focus on community service projects. We will provide extra lunches for the St. Vincent de Paul Society. The students are asked to bring an extra sack lunch each Friday for the next three weeks: (Nov. 30, Dec. 7th, and Dec. 14th). I will send reminders in future newsletters.
This Week
This week we will :
• read with our 6th grade buddies
• work with the letter Kk
• work with the words on and no.
Please Pray for peace!
The Good Shepherd!
On December 12th both kindergarten classes will share a meditation on shepherds during morning prayer. I ask that all the kindergartners dress as shepherds as they will represent Jesus under the title of The Good Shepherd. A plain robe or a man’s T-shirt is a good start for a simple costume. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Next Sunday is the First Sunday in Advent. This marks the beginning of a new liturgical year.
God bless you and have a great week.
